As someone who helps fuel our success, I thought you might be willing to help us promote a cause we have decided to support. It’s called the Pledge to End Hunger and it’s an easy way for us to do something about childhood hunger in America.

At any given time, one out of six children in America does not know when they will eat next. In the next minute, with just a couple of clicks, you can feed 140 children. Working together, we can feed 420,000 of them.

For every person who visits http://tr.im/chmpc and signs the online pledge, Tyson Foods will donate 35 lbs of food (that’s 140 servings of healthy protein) to local food banks. In just its first day, 1,000 people signed The Pledge–enough to fill an entire semi-truck. This truck will arrive in Austin, Texas shortly.

Due to this amazing response, Tyson has agreed to donate two additional trucks — one to each of the two states with the most people who take the pledge. If 5,000 people sign the pledge by Tuesday, March 17 at 12 noon CT, Tyson will add yet another truck, making it a total of four trucks for food banks.
