  • Five Things You Can Do Right Now!

    1. Reach out personally to five people you know and ask them to sign The Pledge. Use your phone, text someone, knock on their door, or whatever it takes. Just ask them person-to-person.

    2. Twitter like crazy using #HungerPledge and the shortened URL http://tr.im/hpttt (this will help us track traffic generated). And, be certain to follow @HungerPledge for updates and news.

    3. Join our Facebook cause (http://tr.im/gZzl) and invite your friends!

    4. Write a blog post and embed our widget (see Share tab) to keep people updated.

    5. Send an email to people you know well, letting them know why you support The Pledge, and asking them to join you, too.

We can’t decide where to send these two trucks, until we know we have enough pledges to fill them. Once they’re filled, we’ll announce the details for how you can make sure one of them comes to your community.

Now, let’s go change the world!

    Sincerely,

    Scott Henderson

  • Next Goal: Two More Trucks Filled by Tuesday!

We reached the 1,000 mark in less than 28 hours. Because of your leadership and effort, we have loaded an entire semi-truck of food that will arrive in Austin, Texas, on March 16 and will provide 140,000 servings of healthy protein.

You made it possible. Thank you very much. Now it’s time for us to make another sprint.

Our next goal is quite simple: Fill two more semi-trucks of food by the end of Tuesday. Let’s call it the “Two Truck Tuesday Drive” just for fun.

To reach this goal, we need to enlist at least 2,000 more people to sign The Pledge. That’s just each one of us reaching out and getting two new people to join us. With a concerted effort, the first 1,000 can multiple into 3,000 strong.

The only question we have for you is: Are you ready to run?
